This utility model relates to an integrated plastic mold that integrates extrusion, injection molding, blow molding and low-foam molding processes. It mainly comprises a fixed-variable cavity base mold assembly, a mold component, a mold assembly locking piece, a fixed-variable core substrate mold assembly, another mold component, a locking assembly, a cavity plate cutting assembly and an edge trimming assembly. It supports the coordinated replacement of punches, dies and auxiliary forming systems, and can process a series of plastic parts in various shapes and dimensions.

As a supporting tool matched with plastic molding machines in the plastic processing industry, plastic molds endow plastic products with complete configurations and precise dimensional tolerances. Given the wide variety of plastics and processing technologies, as well as the differences in plastic molding machines and product structures, plastic molds vary greatly in classification and construction.

With the rapid advancement of the plastics industry and the continuous improvement in the mechanical strength of general-purpose and engineering plastics, the application scope and output volume of plastic products keep expanding year by year.

A plastic mold is a tool for manufacturing plastic products, which is assembled from multiple components collectively forming mold cavities. During injection molding, the mold is clamped onto the injection molding machine, and molten plastic is injected into the mold cavity for cooling and shaping. Afterwards, the movable half and fixed half of the mold separate, the finished product is ejected from the cavity via the ejection system, and the mold closes again for the next injection cycle. The entire injection molding process operates in a cyclic manner.

A plastic mold is generally divided into two core sections: the movable mold and the fixed mold. The movable mold is mounted on the moving platen of the injection molding machine, while the fixed mold is installed on the stationary platen. When closed, the movable and fixed molds jointly form the gating system and product cavities. Once the mold opens, the two halves separate to allow product removal.

Despite substantial structural variations determined by plastic material types and properties, product geometry and structure, as well as injection machine specifications, all plastic molds share a fundamental framework. A typical mold mainly consists of the gating system, temperature control system, forming components and structural components. The gating system and forming components directly contact molten plastic and adapt to changes in materials and products; they are the most intricate and variable parts of a plastic mold, demanding the highest machining accuracy.

The gating system refers to the runner channels through which plastic flows from the nozzle into the cavities, including the main sprue, cold slug well, sub-runners and gates. Forming components are the parts that define the final shape of products, covering the movable mold, fixed mold, mold cavities, cores, forming inserts and vent slots.
